      If you are working with asp.net controls then you need to pass control id like “ContentPlaceHolderID_ControlID” instead of “transliterateTextarea” in script.

    • Admin says:

      Hello Divya,

      If you are working with asp.net User control then you need to pass user control id and textbox Id like “UsercontrolId1_textboxId” instead of “transliterateTextarea” in script.

      Then as well the script will not work then run the page -> right click -> view source code of the page and get the id of the textbox and the copy and replace the given location.

    Hi thanks for this helpful post
    I am slow implementing the same in my project.
    But I have one more extra requirement –
    While typing I want to convert it into Hindi and display in English in another textbox.
    Can you please help me how can I do this?
    I tried the following code
    $(‘#txtEngtoHindi’).keypress(function () {
    var stt = String.fromCharCode(event.which);
    var fstt = $(‘#txtInEnglish’).val() + stt;
    and its working but if I tried to delete any word from the txtEngToHindi textbox , its not reflecting in txtInEnglish text box.
    Is there any solution you have for above scenario?
